Glory To The Lord

Today I would like to share real life story base on a close encounter of how God show his protection on our family. This incident happened during our recent trip to a Local Vegetable Farm last weekend. It was a cooling morning after a long night of rain pour. But despite of the wet weather, we still decided to go for our farm tour.

Upon reaching the farm, Rey was the most excited among us as he has being looking forward to this trip for a long time. We didn't join the farm tour as we wanted to take our time exploring around the farm. The journey starts smooth and fine, we saw a lot of interesting plants and little creatures that. We spent around an hour walking through the farm and enjoy every stations sated on the map but when we come to almost the end of the exploring, something terrible happen.........

This was such a close encounter for our family and it really reflects God's protection on us. We will never forget this incident in our life which marks a greater Faith in our walk with the Lord. This happened while we were admiring some vegetable patch at the last station of the farm. Out of sudden, I was caught up with something "black" on the ground which is about one arm length away from us. We were shocked of our life to see a medium size black colour Snake that seems to be like a COBRA. It has a shiny Black skin with a triangle shape head that is half way standing from the ground. At that moment, honestly I did not know what to do, I quickly grab hold of my boy's hand tightly. The snake is looking at our direction and getting ready for action. All I could think in my mind is "Lord! What should I do?"After that prayer, I took two slowly steps backwards with my boy and Praise the Lord, at the same time, we saw the snake actually "Bow" down it's head and gild off to another direction. It's rather hard for me to explain in details but in that situation and the close distance that we have with that Snake, it is nearly impossible that it choose not to attack us.

With this testimony, it shows that even though with a "Simple Prayer", the outcome is so powerful. The Lord can do wonders in His Hand. Imagine a venomous snake that is ready to attack ends up "bowing down" to the Lord, turning it's head and gild off. I believed only God has the power to this incident and we really thank God for showing his favour on us. Amen! If without Faith and God I guess I won't be able to share this real life encounter.......
